I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
